UFO's

Difficulties of communication.

Let's suppose that there is an alien civilizaton and say - because the possibilities to be only so far are zero - that it is 100 light years far from Earth. What does it mean? Let's suppose that we have a lot of energy to send our message. To arrive the message to them, it must be catched by a radio antenna. The plate of the antenna should always be in that way, io order to able to "see" always the Earth. Only by this way the plate can hear something. To be continued, we send our message to the other planet. Since the planet is 100 light years far from the Earth, the message will arrive in the other planet after 100 years, travelling with the speed of light. ( 300,000 klm/sec ). Other 100 years to send the alien civilization an answer. So, we need 200 years for a "Hello!". That is why we can never communicate with other civilizations, and if we do, it will be only by luck.

SETI programs and the communication frequency.

It is many years now, NASA sponsors programs for the Search for Extraterrestial Life and Intelligence. He has maked and established big radioteleskopes. Observes the sky with these big "ears" and hears space's noises. The problem is in which frequency should hear. Since electromagnetic waves can be met in many types we have trillions of frequencies to hear. But which of these frequencies are the possible frequencies ? Astronomers saw that the only possible frequency is that of hydrogine H2.

The logic of the "Others"

With the same logic, possible civilization who will decide to communicate with us, should send messages in the same frequency. But nobody can knows, if the logic of "THEM" is the same with "OURS".

General conclusions

It is not possible to communicate with alien civilizations, but the search lead us to other usefull discoveries.

Example no1: New techniques in radioastronomy and amatuer radio.

Example no2: New techniques in astronomy and discoveries in astronomy. Studying the atmosphaire of another planet we understand better the atmosphaire of the Earth.
